The Artist's Connection

You may have heard about King David in the Old Testament of the Bible. He was the famous king of ancient Israel who lived around 1,000 years before Jesus. King David ushered in the golden era of ancient Israel. Later, he was known as the man after God's own heart.  That was not because he was morally perfect (far from it) but because he remained close to God and trusted (relied on) Him throughout life in good times and bad ones. He expressed his desire to be in God's presence in a psalm: I have asked the LORD for one thing - this is what I desire! I want to live in the LORD's house all the days of my life, so I can gaze at the splendor of the LORD and contemplate in his temple. (Psalm 27:4) David was enamored with God and deeply desired to experience the beauty and majesty of His grace and goodness. Kingdom bearer child of God joint heir with Jesus beautiful one purified loved holy new forgiven blessed one whose delight is in the Lord released empowered deployed Kingdom bearer bringer of light beacon of hope pillar of strength foundation of truth restoring that which was been stolen marred damaged ravaged hidden repressed undiscovered Water of life fountain of joy streams of healing Kingdom bearer and I saw the Lord He was high and lifted up and the train of His robe filled the temple. And I worshipped Him the one whose name causes mountains to shake, the seas to roar. I worshipped Him whose name is holy who sits on high,  yet dwells with me in the quiet place Lover of my heart comforter in grief counselor in distress inspirer of joy my rock on which I stand.
