The Garden
The Garden is a gathering of Creatives to share something we have made — an artist’s “Show and Tell”. It could be music, pottery, furniture, watercolor, poetry, photography…anything you have created! This will be a space for us to celebrate each other and the beauty we have brought to our worlds. It will be simple. Gather at someone's home, bring what you’ve made, be ready to tell us about it. The hosts can serve some refreshments or food if they are so inspired, and the rest will be the best. Why is it The Garden? Gardens take planning and preparation. Attention to detail. We have to pull the weeds, prune and water regularly. Growth is exciting but takes a bit of patience. Finally we see the fruit-which is for delight, nourishment, healing, and shade. Then there is the season of rest and rejuvenation. Is creating art any different? Wherever we are as artists, we always need each other and the encouragement to carry on.
